Art Challenge: Draw Sonic Characters!


Hey guys! This year to celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog, I would like to hold an art challenge to all Sonic Artist, (and hopefully this year Sega will give us SA3 ).

Now, this challenge is to strengthen and test your art skill for drawling Sonic art and will help work your way in mastering Sonic the Hedgehog.

For the Challenge (contest more like it) will require you to draw as many Sonic Characters as you can until the due date of sometime in September (I'm  still determining it)

This Challenge is for to make your summer, Summer of Sonic! Getting started as soon as possible is wise, and be sure to get all of your Sonic artist friends into it. Even if a beginner you can enter and you can improve your skills while at it!

Due Date will be September 30th


1.If doing a fan character you can only do one!
2.It doesn't have to be digitally colored or all fancy.
3.Should be at least colored.
4.Can only be one character in each picture unless it's considered a character pair that is always seen together. (Example: Cream and Cheese; Scratch and Grounder; Hip and Hop; Decoe and Bocoe)
5.If wanting to do different version of a character, example Evil Sonic --> Scourge; Dr. Robotnik (SATam, Adventures of, Sega). Nack → Fang; is acceptable!
6.Classic Amy (Sonic CD) and Amy Rose can both be counted as a separate character since they vary very differently.
7.You can only count recent deviations, as far back as a month from this date 5/8/2013, any further back will not count!
8.In the description of the deviation, please state who the character is and list if it's from the games, comics, shows or even all above. State where the character has appeared.  
      (Example: Captain Rescue is in Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog; Chip [Light Gaia] is from the Sega game, Sonic Unleashed) This can help me determine if it's eligible if it's a side  
      character that can easily be over looked.
9.If you at least post 10 deviations for the challenge, you get a free request from me,
10.Spread the word! This is suppose to be fun and get you motivated!
    to improve- or draw as many Sonic characters as you can.
11.boss, and enemies from the series are also welcomed!
12.Place the Deviations in a folder labeled, "JB's Contest: Summer of Sonic"

September 30th I will count up and see who is the winner, this is determined by the amount of pictures, NOT THE QUALITY.
